Like previous years, Nintendo doesn’t hold a live press conference on E3 next June.
It’s common for companies like Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo to hold press conferences on E3, where companies show their upcoming games. Nintendo has not been holding these press conferences for a few years, but instead sends a Nintendo Direct video on the internet, announcing new announcements.
Nintendo’s President Tatsumi Kimishima announced in a conversation with investors that there is no press conference held this year by the company again. Many people had expected Nintendo to wear this year because, since earlier this year, their new console, the Switch, is available, but this does not appear to be the case.
Nintendo has not yet provided details about how the company deals with E3 this year. The American branch of the company will make a statement on it later. E3 will be held in Los Angeles from 13 to 15 June, but most days, companies usually hold all their press conferences.
